Whew. It's been a while. I've missed writing!
I apologize about that, but I must admit, my birthday landed on Friday, Dec. 2. I went to a fantastic dinner with friends at Marcellas and then we headed over the Beck Tavern for more adult beverages. A few weeks back, I begged Jason to take me somewhere warm for my birthday. Well, he made that happen. I got to sit in front of a bonfire for 3 days in Hocking Hills beginning Sunday evening! And that my friends...is why I'm so dang late getting to the blog. Shame on me for unplugging!
Regardless of getting to unplug for a few days, I knew I had a lot of work to do when I got back home. The day after my birthday, I had the honor of photographing pets at the Elemental Veterinary Center and Pet Spa (it's an awesome Vet office in the Short North ran by a great group of people! Dr. Flores performs acupuncture on animals...how amazing!) Starting around 3pm, I started setting up in the storefront window! I picked a classy golden backdrop and Dr. Flores doctored (pun intended) the rest of our setup with the beautifully wrapped gifts and awesome chair for Santa! Our evening was packed with lots of pups, a kitten, fine wines and lots of laughs! At one point, during a break, one of the pups started barking which caused the rest of the animals in the office to also bark! I don't think I've ever heard that many dogs barking in one place! So fun!
What's amazing in these images is the fact that each pooch (or kitty) has their own personality. I am so glad I got to be a part of the Short North Gallery Hop for the first time. I had a blast and can't wait to do it next year! The staff at Elemental are extremely kind. I'd highly recommend Dr. Flores and her team for all of your Veterinary/Spa needs! To all of my models-Thank you for leaving Santa in tact and also for your adorable smiles. I loved everything about this experience!
Check out Elemental!
Thanks for stopping in and be sure to have an awesome weekend!
