HAPPIEST OF WEEKENDS TO YOU ALL!
As I mentioned in my last blog, life has been crazy busy, but incredibly beautiful! I wanted to go a bit more in depth about Rebekah and Ryan’s wedding on 8.11.17 here, so read on if you wish. If you don’t care, at least look at their photos because they’re the most adorable couple!
On August 11, 2017, around 4:00pm, Rebekah arrived at Harrison Park in Italian Village to begin putting her dress on and to do final touches before she and Ryan walked down the isle to say “I do”. Shortly after, her Maid of Honor, Rachel, arrived and helped her tie the back of her gorgeous corset styled dress. Ryan was in the car and on his way! I got to photograph a little bit of Rebekah getting ready and then once Ryan arrived, we did a first look and then I took them outside for some “you and me” shots. Ok, I have to say…Ryan and Rebekah are like…the most photogenic people you could imagine. I didn’t even really have to tell them what to do, they were naturals! Those are the best clients to work with, as they make my job incredibly organic and easy.
Fast forward to 6pm, Ryan and Rebekah tied the knot under the gazebo at Harrison Park. It almost looked as though it was going to rain, but it held off until we all got inside after family photos, thank God! It was literally the most perfect timing. Cocktail hour proceeded and then light hors d'oeuvres were served shortly after. The menu was delicious and contained a ton of pasta, Rebekah’s favorite! We giggled in the waiting line because there was more mac and cheese than anything else.
I am so honored to have been a part of their big day last Friday. I truly love capturing love. It’s an incredible emotion that cannot be faked, so every raw emotion is captured during a wedding, especially this one!
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Poellnitz!
