I literally can’t wait to talk about this event. AYYY! Let’s go!
At the beginning of the summer, a sweet badass babe reached out to The Litas Columbus (a motorcycle group that I’m a part of that shares the love for the open road on two wheels) to inquire what we thought about a “All Chick Motorcycle and Car Show” that she’s been dreaming about forever. Obviously, we were more than happy to be a part of this event, cars and bikes alike!
Courtney has graced us with her presence ever since that day and we’ve become very fond of her through this planning process. Courtney owns an AMAZING 1972 Buick Skylark, all blacked out. She and our good friend Jen both own old, classic cars and were hoping to throw a female-based party, empowering other women to do what they love regardless of gender rolls!
So, Courtney hit me up a few weeks ago and asked me to do some marketing material images for social media to put this event on blast. I couldn’t wait to shoot! We scouted out the South High Drive-Ins in South Columbus and shot there for about an hour. I got to photograph her stirring up some dirt and she photographed me on my new bike, Luna (a 1997 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200).
“Miss Behavin” will be held at Seventh Son Brewing Company located at 1101 N. 4th St. Columbus, OH 43201 on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 2-7pm. Peep the event on ColumbusAlive or follow us on Instagram (missbehavin_columbus)
Bring your bike, muscle car, dirt bike or just yourself! We’d love to connect with you and bring female empowerment to the table!
