Reclaim Yourself.
Unfiltered. Unapologetic.
Completely unfuckwithable.
You belong in your own skin.
In college, I had a professor who graded us on how many clothes we wore. The less you wore, the better the grade. We tried to get him fired. Nothing happened.
I had to stand there while classmates dissected my nude body on the wall under the guise of "constructive criticism." It was invasive, uncomfortable, and deeply fucked up. It taught me how to love myself, and of course, it came at a cost.I vowed that when I started this business, you’d never have to pay that same price. This isn't a forced session or a performative show. It’s an investment…an opted-in elective on your exact terms. You don't owe me a performance, a fake smile, or a sanitized version of yourself. In fact, i highly discourage it. You get a rock-solid, fiercely protected space to drop your armor, explore your edge, and see who you are when you stop apologizing for taking up space. 😈
Consent Isn't a Buzzword. It’s the Foundation here.
Did you know that I facilitate consent workshops for adults? Boundaries are personal AF to me. Whether it was being expected to kiss creepy relatives as a kid or stand naked in front of a college classroom for a grade, I learned very early in life what happens when our very own boundaries are not known, spoken and even worse, ignored.
In my studio, you hold every OUNCE of control over your experience. Period.
You Don't Have to Know What You're Doing
99% of the people who step across my threshold have never stood in front of a camera like this before. You don't need to practice poses in the mirror, lose ten pounds, or figure out where to put your hands. That’s my job. I direct every single breath, movement, and angle from start to finish so you never have to guess!
The "First 5 Minutes" Reality Check
I’m gonna say here and then again at your shoot: the first five minutes of any shoot is going to feel wonky asf. I don't care if we’ve known each other five minutes or fifty years…walking into a space and stripping down your armor (or clothes for that matter) takes a second for your (and my) nervous system to process. I get nervous too because I give a shit about doing this right. AND! Once we turn up the music and find our rhythm, that awkwardness completely evaporates after about 5 minutes. You don't have to fake being comfortable right out of the gate; we let the moment breathe until it feels natural. I can’t explain it, but I can warn you that it’s normal.
Come as You Are
There is no required "boudoir uniform." You don't need to buy uncomfortable, itchy lace off the internet just to fit a mold. Whether it's a silk robe, an oversized vintage tee, or just bottoms, we curate a vibe beforehand that feels grounded, comfortable, and iconic to you.
Zero Photoshop Fraud
I edit for light, mood, and atmosphere, not to erase who you are. I won't airbrush you into a plastic stranger or smooth away the texture, scars, and lines that carry your story. If you wake up with a temporary pimple on shoot day, sure, I’ll edit that out. But your shape and your skin stay yours. You aren't stepping into this studio to be fixed or modified; you're here to be seen as you actually are. If that sentence made you cringe, I’m probably not the photographer for you. And I say that with love.
Your Privacy Is a Fortress
Your comfort doesn't end when the camera turns off. Your photos never touch social media, a website, or a portfolio unless you give me a clear, enthusiastic green light before AND after the shoot is over. If you want these images strictly for your eyes only, that choice is respected 100%. No questions asked.
You Always Hold the Control
Consent isn't a piece of paper you sign once and forget about. It’s a live conversation. If we're halfway through a pose and your gut says "nope," we drop it immediately…no explanations needed. And even if you signed a model release before we started, I will check in with you after you see your final images to make sure you're still 100% okay with anything being shared. You can change your mind at any point, and your boundary will always be honored.

A lot of people use these terms interchangeably, and you can, too, if you find it supportive!
I’m personally not a fan of the word “boudoir” because it literally means “a woman’s sulking place” in French, which is not my vibe at all - we want your photo shoot to be joyful and empowering!
If you’ve had boudoir photography sessions elsewhere, you might notice some differences working with me. I don’t have a studio, because I love coming up with fresh and creative ways to capture you in your element, with images that are unique and completely customized to YOU.
Whether you want to call it an empowerment session, boudoir photography, or a body-positive photo shoot, your authenticity, empowerment, and self-love are always at the forefront of our work together.

Great question! To me, the major difference between erotica and body-positive is the actual photographing of genitalia. In a body-positive session, we won’t focus on capturing your naughty bits, but that can be a thing in an erotica session! Things like penetration - with a toy or another person(s) - or any type of genital stimulation is considered erotica.

First, we get to have a brief phone convo to make sure we’re a good fit!
Once that’s out of the way, I will ask questions to get clear on us finding the perfect location. Don’t panic, we do this together! I truly believe everybody is different and deserves to be celebrated accordingly. Sometimes we source in a nature-oriented spot, sometimes we shoot your session in your best friend’s backyard. Most of the time it’s at the client’s home, although I’ve also been known to rent penthouses before, too! It’s all about your vibe!
From there, we pick a date and time (usually around 10am is prime shoot-time), sign a contract and get the session on the books with a deposit. Half of your session fee is due in order put your shoot on the calendar!

Nine times out of ten, clients will be nervous! It’s absolutely NORMAL & you are not alone! What I like to remind everyone is that feeling nervous and feeling excited are actually experienced in the body in the exact same way. I will check in with you every step of the way to make sure you’re as comfortable as can be! Your comfort is my top priority!

Me, myself & I. And YOU!
Optional: a friend to hype you the fuck up is welcome too if that tickles your fancy!
-
I will only share the images if I have full consent from all parties! Your images are safe with me, I take huge pride in that safety and wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize that. It’s my #1 value here at Whitney Brewer Photo! You can count on me.

Yes! Traveling is one of my two favorite things - the other being photography! It’s my dream to travel and inspire people across the globe to love themselves, so yes, absolutely, I travel.

The Vibe Check
(I Might Not Be Your Girl)
If you are looking for a heavily retouched, Barbie-doll experience where every line is erased and your skin is airbrushed into perfect porcelain-smooth plastic? Bish, I am here to tell you… I am genuinely, 100% not your photographer. And that’s okay!
I’m here for the raw, human stuff.
I photograph the transitions, the messy in-betweens, and the chapters you’re actually living through; whether that’s a major body shift, a divorce, stepping into sobriety, or just waking up one day and realizing you're done shrinking yourself to make everyone else comfortable.
Most of my clients do their own hair and makeup because they want to look like themselves, not a stranger. But if you want a kickass artist in your corner who enhances without masking you, I've got you covered.
What this ISN’T is a $50 souvenir…it’s an intentional investment in self-reclamation. My clients average $3,550 (with collections ranging from $1200 to $9,000), because you aren't paying for a forced performance. You're investing in a fiercely protected space where you get to show up exactly as you are and be celebrated in that.
I get to hold space for you, AND I’m going to call you on your bullshit like a bestie who loves you too much to watch you hide. You didn’t come here to pretend to be someone else… you’re coming here because you're finally ready to see who the fuck you are when you stop asking for permission to exist.
And that version of you? I can’t wait for you to meet them. 😈
