outfit do’s and don’ts for boudoir
DO get fitted for a bra - a good fitting bra will help you look and feel your BEST. Go to a store that specializes in high-end lingerie (NOT the not-so-secret store we all know and love…), even if you’re buying your outfit(s) elsewhere
DO feel free to live the fantasy! Bring something you normally wouldn’t wear or that may feel a bit “too much.” Trust me, it’s not… and it will feel SUPER fun to see photos of yourself doing something that makes you feel brave!
DO bring lots of options! Overpack vs. underpack, always.
We’ll help you narrow it down to the final outfit selections.
DON’T forget the jewelry! Bring some statement pieces, sentimental pieces… all the options your heart desires!
DON’T feel restricted to just lingerie. Casual and modest outfits can be amazing in a boudoir setting. An oversized sweater, your cutest PJs, a flannel… all of these make amazing photographs!
DO bring a piece of clothing, accessory, or prop that means something to you! The piece of jewelry that has been passed down from generation to generation, your significant other’s clothing, or your favorite pair of sneakers.
DON’T forget to try your outfit on BEFORE your shoot. We want to make sure everything fits well and feels great.
DON’T bring more than 5 outfits. Anything more than that will be overwhelming.

And honestly…just a pair of fishnets will do ;)
